As an Invisalign dentist and Lecturer, Dr. Rallis, along with Dr. Mihalos, uses 3D imaging to design custom orthodontic treatment plans. An Invisalign laboratory uses the digital plan to fabricate a set of clear acrylic aligners. Patients simply wear the aligners as directed, and teeth move into proper position. In most cases, each aligner should be worn for two weeks, then the patient moves on to the next aligner in his or her series. Plan to visit Center for Smiles for periodic progress checks, but you won’t need painful adjustment visits – as you would with wire braces. For cleaning your teeth, eating, or special occasions, simply take your aligner out, then reinsert it afterwards.
