Vera has been in the dental field for over 30 years, 24 of which have been dedicated to the Center for Smiles. Her heartwarming smile makes every patient feel welcomed and at ease. As the office manager, Vera is in charge of the patient scheduling and financial coordination and making sure everything runs efficiently. Since she joined our team she has quickly proven herself to be an invaluable asset. In her free time she enjoys her family and spending time with her beautiful daughter Maria.
Monyka was born and raised in Cali, Columbia where her dental assisting experience started at age 16. With over 15 years of experience she is well versed in all facets of dentistry. Monyka is a certified dental assistant and obtained her associate’s degree in science from Hostos University. Monyka is fluent in English and Spanish. She loves traveling and has had many wonderful worldly experiences. When she isn’t working, Monyka enjoys spending time with her husband and extended family.
Monica obtained her Certified Dental Assisting certificate from New York School of Medical and Dental Assistants in 2015. She spent one year working and gaining experience in several dental specialties; Endodontics, Orthodontics and general dentistry. We welcomed Monica to our practice in September 2016 as a Patient Care Coordinator. She brings her dental assisting experience along with her commitment to caring passionately for our patients. Aside from dentistry, Monica loves to read books, play tennis and indulge in computer programming. She lives in Queens, New York with her family.
Carmela was born and raised in Bayside, Queens. Her dental assisting experience started over 13 years in general dental practice. Certified by the American Dental Association, Carmela is passionate about patient care, education, and getting to know the families of community within the practice. When Carmela is not working she is a sports fanatic (go Mets!) and loves to spend time with her family, especially her young nieces and nephew.
Diana was born and raised in central Connecticut and has recently made Queens her new home. She has over 11 years experience in the dental field. She graduated from dental assisting school in 2004 and then returned to school in 2009 to pursue her career in dental hygiene. Diana has worked in all dental specialties in both Connecticut and New York. Patient education, excellent care, and comfort are a top priority for Diana. She is continuously taking continuing education courses, learning the newest clinical research and providing her patients with the best possible care. In her free time Diana enjoys running competitive races, biking, hiking, kickboxing, cooking, and most importantly spending time with her family and four young nephews and niece.
Diana (“Dee”) is a graduate of Farmingdale State University and has over 40 years experience working in both general and pedodontic practices. Making everyone’s dental experience enjoyable, stress free and informative has always been her goal. Over the years most of our local schools have met her puppet “Buggsy” who helped her teach young children about oral health. Outside the office she enjoys being with her family, knitting for charity, scuba diving and floral designing.
Jacob and Dr. Rallis have been working together in the same facility for the past 18 years. Having Jacob as part of the team enables us to seamlessly perform all aspects of dental laboratory procedures, while ensuring the highest standards of quality control and personalization of treatment.
